"El dia de los muertos"is still quite far, but I'm making out of clay some sugar skulls to use as pendants.
The reason why I love making sugar skulls is the fatc that even if a lot of craftsters make them, it's almost impossibile to find same skulls (ok, excluding copies!), each author gives a personal touch and interpretation with colors, shapes and decorations.
I'd love to have a sugar skull tattoo...let's see, maybe in the winter...

Magic mushrooms
After making macarons I had some clay left in pastel colors. I didn't want to make new macarons because I didn't want to make new "cream" to fill them (how boring!) and I didn't want to put the clay left in a box: to my experience, these colors have the power to attract dust, dog hairs, crumbs and any kind of dirt, even if sealed in a box, so I made these magic mushroom :D

Tiny things are cute
Tiny things are so cute! It's time for a coffee and I'd love to drink one in a dog shaped mug along with a tasty donut.
This necklace is made with a sterling silver chain, a miniature mug and a polymer clay donut.

Obsession Piranha Plant
Piranha Plant is my favorite video game charachter ever, to the extent that I have one of them tattoed on my right arm. Yesterday I finally created a cross-stitch pattern of a small Piranha Plant that I would like to use for pendants or borches. In the picture you can see the first trial...I still have to deceide if is better to fill the blank spaces with white wire or not...for first I need to iron this piece that now looks crooked!
I like cross stiching a lot, but I can't stand all the boring designs available in books and magazines, so as I love everything as to do with pixels and I love sprites (of course), I use to cross stich subjects of the video games and computer world...I'm such a geek!

Mickey '50 Cafe
I don't collect dolls, they scare me a bit. When Barbie looks at me with her perfect smile and her anti-gravity boobs I feel unconfortable, I feel more safe keeping her in a box. But I have an insane passion for doll's miniatures. I buy a lot of miniatures sets to use in my creations, but also to play with!
In this picture you see two sets of the serie "Mickey Mouse '50 cafe", even if I'm a not a big fan of Mickey Mouse, these were irresistible!!!!Isn't the Mickey shaped burger too cute?

Cake matchbox
This is a matchbox I decorated for a swap on Swap-bot few months ago
I used a real matchbox that I covered with paper, then I've added a handmade fimo cake on top and a doll's miniature gold fork.

Rainbow necklace
Too much?maybe, but I can't resist colorful and kitch combinations of things that have nothing to share. When I'm feeling down, nothing works better than make a rainbow necklace or a rainbow bracelet!
